One of those days that this is a good exercise, as it seemed a rather mundane day.
1. North Glenmore Park and THAT HILL - which I made it up, no stopping!
2. Lock-tite stuff, which works so great, I shouldn't have to replace those bolts on DD's bike *ever* again.
3. My iPod with Audiobooks. Makes a walk that much more enticing!

Simply put:
1. Living close enough to ride my bike to many things.
2. An instructor who is making Standard First Aid fun
3. Snuggles from my (not-so-little) girl.

Back from a fantastic weekend away. Here it is:
1. The Rocky Mountains. Thank goodness our province had the wisdom to preserve so much of it in such beautiful parks. This was from the top of my climb (unmarked/unknown trail, started near Galatea creek).
2. Conquering fear (with the help of a good friend). On yesterday's hike through flood damaged K-country we ended up on goat trails and scree, and I managed to get through it - big for me! - and I only did that with my good friend's encouragement.
3. Quiet. The peace and quiet of this evening was so relaxing and welcome after a fun (but busy) weekend.
